These Terms govern your access to and use of Bluepeak, a talent platform that connects candidates with recruiters and hunters across Francophone Africa. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By registering for an account, accessing, or using Bluepeak, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Bluepeak. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. The role of Bluepeak
Bluepeak is an intermediary platform. We do not employ candidates and we are not a party to any hiring decision, contract, or relationship between candidates and recruiters. We do not guarantee any job, application outcome, or hire.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, including: posting false, misleading, or unlawful content; impersonating others; uploading malware or harmful files; scraping or harvesting data; or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' data. Job postings and messages must be lawful and relate to genuine opportunities.
5. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your profile, CV, and messages) and grant Bluepeak a limited licence to host and process it to provide the service. The Bluepeak name, logo, and software are our property and may not be copied or reused without permission.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bluepeak is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost opportunities, or the conduct of any user, recruiter, or candidate.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to other users or to the platform. You may close your account at any time from your account settings.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Bluepeak operates.
