Cookie Policy

This policy explains what BluePeak stores on your device, why, and how long for. It covers cookies and equivalent browser storage such as localStorage, because the rules are the same for both: they store information on your device.
1. The short version
We store only what the site needs to work. We run no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind, and we set nothing for those purposes. The one third-party embed on the site — a Google map of our office on the contact page — does not load until you click to display it.
2. Strictly necessary storage
These entries do not require your consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot be delivered: you would be signed out on every page, lose a job posting or onboarding form part-way through writing it, and our contact form would be open to automated abuse. One of them deserves a specific note. If you reach us through a link shared by a BluePeak representative, we store a short referral code so that person is credited if you later create an account. It contains no personal data, it is never shared with anyone, it is used for nothing else, and it is deleted as soon as you register or after 30 days, whichever comes first.
3. Analytics and advertising
We currently use none. There is no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no advertising pixel and no session-recording tool on this site. The consent controls exist anyway, so that if we ever introduce such a tool it cannot run before you have been asked and have agreed. Until then the preferences dialog will show these categories as empty.
4. The map on our contact page
Our contact page can display a Google map of our Douala office. Because loading it would send your IP address to Google and let Google set its own cookies, it does not load automatically: you see a placeholder and the map appears only if you click to show it. Clicking is your consent for that one embed, on that one visit.
5. Changing your choices
Use the Cookies link at the bottom of any page to review your choices or withdraw consent at any time. Your choice is remembered for six months, after which we ask again. You can also clear or block storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage will sign you out and may prevent forms from working.
6. Changes to this policy
If we add anything that stores information on your device, we will update this page and, where consent is required, ask for it before that item runs.
